Mr. Titkanich is the Community Development Director for the City of Cocoa and he is a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners.  John created the Office of Economic Development for the City of Cocoa in 2002, of which community revitalization was a key focus.  As part of that effort he started the City of Cocoa’s Brownfield Redevelopment Program in 2003.  The City has successfully managed three EPA Brownfields Assessment Grants for both Hazardous Substances and Petroleum.  John previously served as a Planner in both Land Development and Economic Development for the City of Orlando.

Janet is a Senior Project Manager with the Health, Safety, and Environmental Services Division of Bureau Veritas North America, Inc. in Miami. Janet has extensive experience assessing and remediating a wide range of contaminated Brownfield sites, including dry cleaners, wood-treating facilities, and golf courses under both private and public sector contracts. She has supplied environmental consulting services for all aspects of redevelopment, from due diligence to land use planning, permitting, and construction. Janet is a Florida-registered Professional Geologist and has degrees in geology from Franklin and Marshall College and Brown University.

Steven Folsom is a Senior Environmental Engineer and Shareholder with HSA Engineers & Scientists in Tampa, Florida.  He is a graduate of the University of Florida, and is a Board Certified Environmental Engineer in Hazardous Waste Management with the American Academy of Environmental Engineers.  He specializes in the management of all aspects of environmental projects including site investigation, remedial design and performance optimization, brownfields redevelopment, solid and hazardous waste compliance, environmental due diligence, and litigation support.

He has 20+ years in public and private work (Diversified Drilling, SWFWMD, ERM South, Delta Eng and HSW), specializing in hydrogeo projects, including ESAs, assessments, remediation, modeling, emergency response, compliance, permitting, Brownfields and risk-based closure strategies with ICs. Jason Lichtstein is the immediate past President of the FBA.   Jason is an environmental attorney and shareholder at Akerman Senterfitt in Tallahassee.   Jason has significant experience in the cleanup, redevelopment, and reuse of Brownfields and other contaminated properties in Florida, and his practice includes a wide range of environmental transactional, environmental regulatory compliance, and state legislative and agency advocacy matters.   Jason has been recognized by Chambers USA as one of the Up and Coming environmental law attorneys in Florida.

Dr. Satchel is the City Manager for the City of Mulberry.  Frank earned his undergraduate degrees from the University of South Florida and his Doctorate in Public Administration from Nova Southeastern University.  Frank is a board member of the Heartland Brownfield Revitalization Partnership of Polk County.  He retired from the Polk County School System after 35 years of service and previously served as Superintendent of Wyandanch School District in Wyandanch (Long Island), New York.

Michael Sznapstajler is an attorney in the Environmental and Litigation Departments of Cobb Cole in Daytona Beach.  As part of his environmental practice, Michael assists clients with assessment and cleanup of contaminated properties, environmental permitting, environmental due diligence, brownfield redevelopment, submerged lands permitting and wetland and species issues.  Michael currently serves as co-chair of the FBA Legislative and Policy Committee.  Michael received his undergraduate degree from the University of Miami and his Juris Doctor from Stetson University College of Law.
